RETROFITTING/STRENGTHENING OF PERMANENT BRIDGES - SABANG BRIDGE 1
The bridge already undergone rehabilitation on its girder. After series of investigation on the other structures it was found out that there are cracks on bottom slab and pier wall of the bridge. The said structures was subject for Rehabilitation using Carbon Fiber Sheet (CFS).

- Retrofitting/ Strengthening of bottom slab and beam, girder using Carbon Fiber Sheet (CFS). It consists of carbon and glass fabrics that are impregnated with the quality resins to form laminate that is externally bonded to the element to be strengthened. Using Carbon Fiber Sheet (CFS) longitudinal and transversal application to increased additional strength of the bottom slab to carry the volume of vehicle passing through the bridge.
- 1. Removal of loose materials, and Concrete Plaster by means of chipping and grinding.
2. Application of Carbon Fiber Sheet (CFS) with Chemical Epoxy resins
