P. Florentino Bridge is a 15.1-m long concrete bridge located on Sampaloc Manila. This bridge was subjected to rehabilitation works because of its frail condition and poor structural maintenance.

  • This bridge was subjected to rehabilitation works because of its frail condition and poor structural maintenance. Retrofitting works include surface preparation, application of  Carbon Fiber Sheet (CFS) and 100mm-thick Carbon Fiber Plate (CFP) on the girders, and painting works of railings.

  • Retrofitting and strengthening of the bridge, RMBRCI using  UT70-30G 300gsm Carbon Fiber Sheet (CFS) and 100mm-thick Carbon Fiber Plate (CFP) on the girders . The main material used for the shearing and flexural strengthening in all the beams and slab to increase the bridge load capacity.
  • 1. Removal of loose materials, and Concrete Plaster by means of chipping and grinding.
    2. Application of Carbon Fiber Sheet (CFS) with Chemical Epoxy resins
    3. Restoration of bottom slab, girder and beam on Affected by Carbon Fiber Sheets (CFS), and Carbon Fiber Plate (CFP) Application
    4. Protective Coating for concrete Structures (Skim Coat)/ Plastering Works
    5. Painting Works (Masonry, and Concrete)
