SALVACION BRIDGE

Salvacion Bridge is a concrete type bridge 31.2m long located in Nabua-Bato Libon, Camarines Sur. According to the DPWH Camarines 5th district, the bridge was listed for having a poor overall condition. Rehabilitation methods such as retrofiting with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) were applied to strengthen the condition of the bridge.

  • The Salvacion bridge reinforced by Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) can greatly improve the bending and shear resistance of the beam, bottom slab and can improve the stiffness and ductility of the bridge members, and play a role in restraining the cracking and reducing the deflection.
